A Highlight On Vijay Eswaran’s Career

Vijay was born in Malaysia in 1960. The co-founder of the QI Group is an alumnus of the prestigious London School of Economics where he pursued his undergraduate degree in socio-economics. In addition, the executive chairperson of the multi-million business studied in the United Kingdom where he received the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) certification.

Later, he moved to the United States where he enrolled in the Southern Illinois University to pursue his MBA. While he was studying, someone introduced him to the concept of multi-level marketing. After his graduation, he went back to Malaysia where he started working for Cosway’s. Here, he was mandated with the duty of expanding its operations using the direct selling approach.

While he was oversees, Vijay worked for international companies such as IBM. In 1998, he partnered with his friend, Joseph Bismark, to incorporate QI Group. The Hong Kong-based company has been using the direct-selling model to invest in various industries. While they were starting the company, Eswaran says that he had limited resources and lacked connections.

In addition, Asia was facing one of the major economic crises. However, they succeeded in running their business as a going concern. The multi-million business has invested in training and education, telecommunications, management of properties and conferences, logistics, luxury, and leisure and lifestyle. Demand for the company’s products and services saw them open regional offices in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong. Through different subsidiaries, the organization has been able to conduct business in more than 30 countries. Over the years, Vijay has been sharing his knowledge with others.

To this end, the motivational speaker has gone around the world lecturing on various subjects that include entrepreneurship and spirituality. He has also visited different universities, corporations and leadership conferences to share his experiences and knowledge.

Through his books, the author has been able to write on various topics that highlights his entrepreneurial journey. He seeks to encourage people to move from their comfort zones and seek to pursue their passion.

In one of his books, “In The Sphere of Silence,” which has been translated into various languages, Eswaran talks about life management. His other books are, “On the Wings of Thought,” “18 Stepping Stones,” and “In The Thinking Zone.” In Malaysia and Sri Lanka, the executive contributes to various newspaper columns.
